You're reading this, so I'll assume you've already witnessed the damage over on my aunt's web site. That's how you got here, right? (Unless your last Google search included the terms "honey," "SOS" and "WTF".) Hmm... now I'm actually curious to see what that turns up.)
Okay, focus, Dana.
I've been wrestling with the site bug(s?) myself since late last week. I've exhausted every strategy I can think of: scoured my code, ran virus checks, did the whole spyware Spyhunter thing, installed all the browser updates, and then finally just wiped the site and rebuilt it from scratch. Nothing helped.
In fact, although I might just be hallucinating from too much maté, I would swear it's getting worse.
I'm posting all of the original pages below, so you can see what www.ilovebees.com looked like BEFORE it crossed over to the dark side.

After reading the source code for the pages, it is obvious this is a hoax and that the site owner or you or whomever have done those things to your own site...
OK, thanks for the mild amusement but ... really. For one thing, the .js is a giveaway since it resides in the same directory as the main html page.

CAPTAIN KEYES!!! All those messages are from the character of Captain Keyes from HALO!!! Just look at it... he talks about the stars. Captain keyes, if my memory serves me, was taught to look at the stars as a guide from his father, which is where he got the pipe from. He also has that flood in his mind "head full of sand." All the stuff about being "shipwrecked." Those are Keyes' memories being stolen by the thing in his head, the infection form. All the stuff about the spread of things and hemmorages, that's happening to Captain Keyes. It all adds up. My knowledge of the book is horrible, but this sounds just like captain keyes.
Look at this:
"totally different kind of memory all of a sudden, floating up like a bubble from deep water, then *pop* on the surface of my mind. All in black and white for some reason, faded out, or just time bleaching the past like it does, time is hard that way, if you-" this was said on the Ilovebees site, and it sounds like memories being stolen, just like how Keyes' memoiries were being stolen. It's all in the book: Halo the flood.
I think the site is trying to hint at the new race that will join the covenant. The trailer talks about how the Earth is in the way of the covenant. I think this new race has a "hive" and the words Phasmidia Elegans(type of worm) hint at their physical structure. I think the excerpts that allude to loneliness taken from Gulliver's travels and Shakespeare's The Tempest are hinting at "the monitor" from Halo 1. He is in an unknown planet.
It's actually Cortana/Durandal talking there :/ If anyone remembers, and the end of marathon, Durandal talks about how they know how to escape the end of the world, and they reappear as Cortana in Halo. It might be Captain Keyes, although all signs point to Cortana. Guess we'll have to wait for Halo 2.

supposedly someone was saying that there was a date of August 24 that this site refers to... supposedly there is a playable version of Halo 2 at PAX hosted by Penny-arcade.com and its on the 28th and 29th... maybe its refering to when the playable demo will be available and approved for general consumption... On the Halo trailer, it shows www.ilovebees.com at the end,other interesting thing about the trailer, if you look closly, it appears that the in game footage is from a mulitiplayer point of view, either on live or a lan, cause it says in the top right corner you killed....(name) if you slow it down, its cool maybe you can use the elites as playable characters in multiplayer mode!

Everyone, we all know that the timer ends on August 24th, I think it's possible that Halo 2 may come out on that date... before you start saying that I'm stupid, think about it... in the latest Frankie update they talk about doing fixes and beta testing. Do they really need 4 months to do that? Also, they already have an ESRB rating, they wouldn't be able to do that unless they had a near finished product. Think about it... the throttling thing could mean that they will announce it then or it will go gold, and metastasize means spread, that could be when the game gets delivered to retailers. The time between matastasize and the end of the counter is just long enough to deliver. I'd say that it could be about a demo or a content release too, but then why are there two things before that. The truth is that we really won't know anything for two days... and I really can't wait until then...

Okay, I've been in and out of this site and through the comments...yea, I've got that kind of time on my hands...and I'm at work *wink*...anyways, here's what I think:
Earlier in the posting process of this site an apparent friend to Aunt Margaret comments about Varroa Mites and comments about the mispelling on the site. She goes on and says, "I did some research on those things...very nasty. How goes her fight against the little beasties?" Having read this I decided that if this was just a huge treasure hunt from Bungie and Microsoft then why not try to crack it. I checked out these Varroa mites and one site (a serious site, not one related to this) describes them quite well and in the Halo world they sound an awful lot like the Flood. The site talks about how these mites have and can lead to the death of a great number of bees or bee colonies. The mites feed off of the blood of bees larvae and pupae. Meaning the Flood doesn't just use humans.
On Ilovebees.com I noticed the "Fable of the Bee" it tells an interesting story in and out of the Halo Realm. However, such a story leads me to think that the "bees" are metaphorically the Covenant. They wish to destroy humankind and such a power could only be granted through the vast power of Halo, which would inevitably lead to their death as well. Upon the destruction of the only known Halo they decided to attack earth in revenge and to pursue their objective head on.
Now, if the Flood is in fact referred to as the "varroa mites" then they would attach themselves to the "bees" and wait to lay their eggs (as the female Mite is said to do) until the oppotune time. Who's to say that no Covenant survived the first Halo? Perhaps, a ship escaped with a grunt or Elite or some kind of Covenant that was infected with a stowaway female flood parasite that was laying dormant until it saw fit to attack. It would wait until it was surrounded by more Covenant so when it "exploded" (you know the Flood enemy I'm talkin about) and its mites attacked and took over either a covenant ship.
This is where I have two branches of the story...yea, this is long I know and I'm sorry. If the Flood killed and took over a ship escaping Halo, then they could have infected one of the upcoming Prophets and gained intelligence and even forethought. They could indefinitely have a strong strategic advantage on Earth and the Covenant. They would know the Covenant's plans to attack Earth and would wait until both sides had hurt each other so badly that they would be overwhelmed by the unexpected Flood invasion/attack, and they would win without much of a fight. Which is where our story for the MC would lie...maybe.
The other way is about the same but if the Stoweaway Flood Parasite waited until the infected Covenant trooper came in close quarters with a Prophet or when it was deployed to Earth and attacked both races with the blind rage and unmerciful killing that we're all accustomed to the Flood having.
I just kind of went on all that. So, hey, there's my stab at a story line spoiler and the whole purpose of the site. The countdown clock...I hope that the comment earlier is right and they release the game unexpectingly early for either pre-orders or for everyone. Whatever happens, I know the Game will be awesome and I've got my 2 pre-order stubs sitting in my wallet right now. Have fun with the site guys and hope you enjoyed my ranting. This is what they want. They make a site where everyone talks about it without officially saying they created it. There are so many hints and details that point out this was made by either Bungie or Microsoft. Why else would the trailor have the website on it. It is a clever idea. The first countdown ended and so did the beta testing last night. I've heard at the end of the last countdown that there will be a demo. Maybe the level of the first E3 demo. Can't wait til 11/9. Halo 2 will be the best game ever.
P.S. They won't have an early release of the game no matter how FUCKING awesome that would be. Especially a China release. Sorry to bust your bubble. A lot of people have posted good ideas and i hope they continue to. I wonder if Bungie and MS did this just to keep anticipation up or just to let us know a little more about the game. Maybe both. I just thought of somthing that I'm hoping someone here can try. I'm not using my own computer right now, so I can't do it, but... I know that there is a program that one can use to hide jpeg pictures within the pixels of another jpeg picture and then also retrieve them. I'm thinking that maybe there are other clues hidden within the pictures on this site in addition to the writen ones. If you're reading this right now and you're awre of what I'm speaking of, then see what you can find out. If there is anything to find out.
Has anyone noticed a change since the network eroded? It appears the site has become more disfuctional, and did you notice the comments about what appears to be a ship being repaired. It could be the AI of a human vessel, in particular the qoute "blow torches licking" . I am now firmly held to the belief that this is an AI attempting to restructure herself after what? damage for sure, but from what cause? An infection? Hardware failures due to combat damage?

This is such a hoax. If you look at the countdon to china, it is exactly the same as the countdown to "wide awake and full physical". wow. this is lame. SUCH a hoax. Either, the makers of HALO are going to announce/release something august 4th, or it is just some kid with some knowledge of computers putting on an elaborate joke. That is not a "Queen", it is a Covenant Prophet. The Prophets are the spiritual leaders of the covenant, and considering that the entire covenant is lead by religion, they are the most powerful (politicaly anyway) of all the covenant.

It looks to be just a spinoff thing made by a fan by copying the source code of the countdown java code, but the domain name was registered in 2003. A little odd. I did a whois search on www.ilovebees.com domain on www.register.com. It says the name registrar is Namesdirect. I went to namesdirect and i whois search for www.ilovebees.com and it says no match found.

That was how i found out about this, but like this has got to be a big deal and the movie trailers wernt for the game, i think that they were for www.ilovebees.com because everybody already knows about the game, whats the whole purpose of putting it in theators, theres no point concitering the fact they also have TV Commercials for it. and it is shown during all the biggest movies. so this IloveBees deal has to be somthing bigger than we imagined.
