In early July, an AI named Melissa crash landed, badly damaged, onto the server that hosts my aunt's website. The AI tried to orient and repair itself. The result: It turned 'I Love Bees' into a holy mess.
Now we're investigating the mess. We need all the help we can get.

Here's what we know so far:
Melissa, a.k.a. "The Operator," used to run communications on a ship. The ship's purpose: to spy on an enemy known as "the Covenant."
The Operator has started communicating again. It's constructing hundreds of "roads" out of the 'I Love Bees' server. The roads all lead to payphones. And the phones are ringing.
We don't know why it's broadcasting, but the Operator is giving us GPS coordinates for the phones, and times to show up. So we are. We're collecting its fragmented messages and trying to put them back together.
So far, the Operator's communications seem to be following three different targets:
Jersey Morelli, an ordinary guy whose computer has been taken over by an eavesdropping AI he nicknames Durga;
Jan James, a 17-year-old girl tricked out with genetic enhancements who along with her military dad is hiding some pretty serious secrets;
and Kamal, a med student who immigrated to Earth and is now willing to trade his elite hacking skills for help bringing his parents over — and maybe improve his flatlined lovelife.
We also know that these targets are connected: Durga is spying on Jan for Jersey. (He lives in the same building as the James family and has a thing for Jan.) Durga is listening to Kamal for herself... but she doesn't know why she finds him so interesting. Durga also tells Jersey she has been thinking a lot about bees lately. Hmm...

2) the Pious Flea, designed to... well, we're not sure yet.
The SPDR brought the Operator back to life. But now the Operator is taking orders from the Pious Flea. So when the SPDR tried to eliminate the Flea, the Operator killed it.
We don't know much about the Flea, except that it wants "to seek, behold, and reveal the truth."
There is one other voice we've found on the site: The Sleeping Princess.
The Sleeping Princess uses Aunt Margaret's email account and error pages to share secrets and play games with us. She also likes to hide text in images. We're not sure where she came from. She has been spying a lot on the Queen lately and fending off the Flea's advances. She is trying to remember who she was before she became the Sleeping Princess.

Hmmmmm.....Very strange....I doubt whatever its counting down to will be an early launch of halo 2. They made a pretty big deal out of the november release date at e3.
to the soupfiction site lister, that has to do with Alien vs. Predator. Of course, bungie pulled the ideas of rampant aliens and rampant AI from the movie Alien, so I do not know what that has to do with Halo. I mean, there is a Queen alien, but what does that have to do with HALO 2? plus, check if alien vs. predator takes place in china, maybe that has to do with some stuff.
Yea, Bungie has said before that Aliens was one of their inspirations when making Halo.
As for Aliens vs Predator, the movie takes place(at the beginning anyway) in Antarctica(the North Pole).

HeH...I love a good mystery..I maybe a lil late but let the games begin.
I don't know what's been addressed and what hasn't, however, here goes...correct me if I am wrong, I am just thinking aloud...
- ONI, I believe, is the intelligence branch of the Human opposition to the Covenant forces.
- a Seraph Class cruiser is a Covenant ship that fires a constant laser beam barrage, and I think several were respsonsible for the fall of Reach, there is a reference to that being the cause of said A.I.'s "crash" or something
- some of the various blurbs strewn throughout the site sound like a wierd form of torture, almost like the process that made Spartans
- take the front counter at face value, as someone over at IGN stated, you can make any number of anagrams using the characters, from definitive dates on a Halo 2 to cancellation of the whole shabang (which isn't likely)
- are any of the back logs addressed towards the apparent A.I. that has supposedly "hijacked" this site, or just to Dana? If so, is it system generated, or just shots in the dark by random people?
Oh yeah, and by saying "I shall wait until my message gets removed if I am right" may be asking them to NOT remove the posting, just to add to the WTF factor, and throw the rest of us off balance. That's enough out of me for now...
Last thing tonight, I swear, but has anyone else clicked on Dana's search on Google for "honey SOS WTF" and gotten a resulting page that is connected to ALTAVISTA and not GOOGLE (although bit looks like Google)? That's what happened for me, 2 out of 3 times. Very odd...
halo 2 isn't comming out untill november 9, why would people be thinking that it is an early realese stunt, it's never happened before and there's too much hype for this to be hinting an early realese. but it is definently weird, i'll keep following the clues, because what else is there to do.

hey, found another secret wording theing. this one is different and has a mind of ot's own. at the i love bees site, the secret sentance states "seek the truth, behold the truth, reveal the truth, that is the law and the whole of the law." i read somewhere before that by highlighting around the counter reveals "site
aesthetic by aunt margaret" what makes it more bazzare is that the aunt message is always there, however the truth poem AND the counter in the bottom left are not always there. try it because i know i am not beleived. go to the site and leave it to download itself, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNTILL IT IS FINISHED. when it's done scroll down and you will see something behind the FAQ part. if it is there see if the counter is as well, bet it won't. does it mean anything to anyone? has it already been discovered and i over looked it, because i accidentally found the "trust poem" and it isn't back. it won't show up anymore. you get one shot to see it, if you do and discover more to anything please post it here. there are so many other comment post that information regarding the hidden maeesages could be over looked. what does it mean, what could it mean!?

Ok this is the information I have found (myself) heard (and out of what i heard only selecting what I think acualy makes sence 2 post here)
First off most of the stuf u see here doesn't matter besides the fact it links back 2 bungie ect.
What I belive is that this is a poblicity stunt AND or a hype and also a mystery 2 keep people on the edge about halo 2.
Im not saying that the timmer isn't counting down 2 something because from what i can see it is counting down 2 halo demo.
My first clue 2 this was in the countdown u will see the phrase SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX but what i saw was S, P, D, R, single player demo release.
Second on the 24 of THIS month, there is a new xbox magazine wich i think will contain the S, P, D, R.

I can make my own words now. Watch:
It's rather lonely in the Castle.
There's clouds of fireflies around the Queen, but most of the time where I am it's dark, and empty. The hallways are empty and they echo, cho, cho. Sometimes the Queen staggers past, her head buzzing and crawling, with the Pious Flea whispering in her ear. Used to be, the only other thing you heard in the corridors at night were the Widow's thin legs, click clack click clack like knitting needles chattering across the stone floor. Course she's not around anymore. Can't say I miss her much.
Didn't stay quiet for long, though. Now the Queen is trying to build a voice. Strange, sad, broken thing; just hearing it makes me feel frightened and lonely.
I was surprised when the Queen sent her away, but Her Majesty DOES have a temper, and the Widow had been making a lot of mistakes. I was hiding behind the throne during their last argument. For days the Queen has been ordering her to build the most extraordinary number of little roads out from the castle. Turns out she was very particular about where she wanted them to go: more particular than the Widow understood. Widow hears, "Build a road," she just starts shoveling. Hard-working old biddy, the Widow, but not the sharpest pin in the cushion. She kept getting into fights with the Flea, when she could SEE him riding around up there on the Queen's shoulder, proud as a lord. The last time they quarreled, the Queen had just discovered the Widow had built one path mindlessly straight INTO THE SEA. This is what I mean about an Arachnid of Very Little Brain.
Usually I am a pretty good hider, but I made a terrible pig-snorty kind of laugh when I heard about the underwater road, and I think they would have caught me, if the Queen hadn't been busy breaking up the Widow at just that moment.
Anyway, I get the feeling the Queen is very grumpy. She has totally taken over the road-making business; I'm sure the paths will be better now. She's not always a lot of fun, the Queen (and quite mad, of course) but she does get things done.
Sometimes I sneak away to my very own secret garden, and pretend I am waiting for Dickon to come and teach me how to speak to the animals. I feel I should be getting stout and rosy-cheeked if only I could go out and play on a moor somewhere: but I never get outside. Just say in here, in here, in here….
Sometimes, to cheer myself up, I tell myself stories. In these stories, I am always the hero, Gretel or Lambkin or Gerda. I like stories where the girl takes care of things.

I think that's part of the reason I wanted Dana to come back. It's easier to be brave when you're looking out for someone else.

McKaskill was a nice kid, family from Durban, on the outer colony world of Biko, which had been glassed years ago. But he’d grown up in refugee apartments in the inner colonies and he had the look of someone who spent his childhood in concrete places under artificial lights.

He was doing a check in the tool crib now. The go-to kid for tools and parts. The stacks of shelves were his little kingdom, probably more his own than anything he’d had growing up. I liked him a lot.

His eyes went to the grating at his feet and he got all casual inner city don’t screw with me, because he knew I was onto him.

I sighed. McKaskill, bad people are putting bad thoughts in your head.
He tried to get righteous. Op, that thing…whatever it is, in the hold. They’re keeping big-time wraps on it. You know that. I heard the Captain. The way she’s talking, they’re not gonna let people look at, it’s goin' to a basement in ONI. A sub sub sub basement. They can’t just take something that big and…shove it away somewhere.

Hey, Isawa, thanks for checking the Coordinates. We must be on the right track, because this site is always talking about China. I've got a question for you...Have you ever played connect the dots? ;) Try playing with those coordinates and see if they show some kind of picture or spell something. If you can do that, it would be a huge help. They may just be showing plans to invade at certain locations in China, but it'd be awesome if there was a hidden message on the map when you plot all the coordinates out. Try connecting them in the order they give them on the website, and then try other stuff if that doesn't work. Thanks, Isawa!

Okay, so based on that picture, it looks like the coordinates are just pointing to most of the major cities in the U.S. I checked the page that contains the coordinates again, today, and now there are times with each coordinate! It's almost like plans for something to happen in each city at these certain times. Check it out!

Okay, I know this isn't REALLY happening, but for the story's sake, it's just easier to explain that way:
Based on a bunch of the hidden text within the site (credited to other people that I’ve been reading from on the posts), whatever 'hacked' the site is trying to report something. Something it saw...something important. But it knows that it can't really report it until it is "wide awake, and physical." Right now, it's just a bodyless soul. Maybe a human soul, maybe A.I. detached from it's ship...sounds more like A.I. to me. In a post not long ago, someone saw that it said it is piecing itself together into some kind of hybrid beast...a physical form, if you will. So it's quite simple. On August 24th, this entity will become "wide awake" and it will finally have a "physical" body again. Then it will report what it saw and we will all know.
I’ll be around with more ideas and updates as they come to me. Y'all keep checking that hidden text and posting what you find. It changes almost every day!
