I’m sorry to continue bothering you with Ilovebees.com questions—especially while you’re supposed to be on vacation. But I just have one question for you: Do you know anything about the email that was sent out from your aunt's ladybee777@hotmail.com email address?
At first I figured it was just a result of the same virus that’s been spreading thought Aunt Margaret’s website, but I noticed some curious similarities between two line’s in you blog text and two lines from the cryptic email I received.
Here is a portion of the email I received:

The fact that you refer to yourself in the same manner that the writer refers to you in the email means you must know something… Is there any explanation you can provide as to the purpose and/or meaning of the outlandish email sent out from Aunt’s email? This whole situation has me a bit on edge…

I read that site again (I'd read it earlier and mostly dismissed it) and now that I've read it a second time with your request I have to ask: do we have any concrete evidence that this is real? Or is this a red herring? The picture at the very bottom seems like it's got some of the same 'text encoded in the picture' glitches as some of the other sites but I don't have the tools to decode it.
In any case... supposing it's real, there's two possible postulations.
1: I believe at some point someone mentioned a second AI involved in all this. (I believe this was mentioned on bees.netninja.com.) Could it be using SPDR as a fall guy to spread itself over the net?
2: If it's the SPDR itself that created that site, then I tend to agree, yes, it's hostile and more than likely a 'bad guy'. But here's the thing - without it, how can Melissa be healed/fixed? Also, why, exactly, would a basic repair program like SPDR have its own AI like that? One capable enough of apparently going crazy and determining that 'we needed a new leader'? I mean... with a little reading of the hidden email, I get the nervous feeling that the SPDR AI might have caused the problems/destruction of the ship.
I feel like I'm going very far afield here, and probably I am. But I see things like this and it demands that I ask these questions... just because I wonder if anyone else had asked them, and because I don't know how to anwser them myself. In any case, if at any time you think it's a good idea, just disregard what I say - all I'm doing is asking questions. *grin*

Welcome back, I would like to say that I've looked at your site and I could even fix this site its just added html and its easy to make images like that and do you realy think a large corperation like Microsoft would let something like this in one of there official trailers to a game that is very popular then say that the website does not exist. You know how much trouble you can get into hacking into someones website and there is enough evidence to say that microsoft and bungie did this so if it was real there would be major lawsuits.
PS. How could a little web site handle this much traffic you would have to pay lots of money for the banwidth and if you did get this much with the lots of money you would need why do you need that much with a site that sells honey.

Hello Dana. I've been following your predicament, and I have a few ideas I want to bring to your attention. First, a few people here have suggested unplugging the computer. I'm curious - what would happen if you turned off the server the website was being hosted on, unplugged it from the internet, and then removed and destroyed all the storage media? Somewhat catastrophic, and I'm not sure if you have access to the server anyway, but this could be a viable option for destroying this rogue AI.
That solution, of course, would be a last resort. But there is another way. What if you attempted to make contact? From what we've seen, the AI believes you're trying to kill it, and is trying to act in self-defense. Maybe there's a way to place a message in the source code of your site, explaining what's happening.

I'm here to offer a different view on this.
Consider the possibility that 'Dana' wasn't part of the story, unless she is the Bystandard (I'll explain later)isn't it wholely possible that the story has nothing to do with earth, maybe Ilovebees being the 'host' site for the Operator was just random.
If this is the case then wouldn't Melissa (Operator) be the queen? and SPDR would be the widow trying to bring her back? Now that Melissa has some functions back (sight obviously) she searched the source code of ilovebees and got Aunt M's name and info?
In that situation, Melissa would think that Aunt M is the Assassin, not Dana, that would explain the initial take over of ladybee777 and deletion of mail. When the site metastasize(s) we may get more info that correlates to the story, so be looking for a sacrifice of one of Melissa's own for the Manticore, and something that could pertain to the pious flea. I have a feeling that he is important.
As for the Sleeping Princess, I agree that we can not rule her out as a possible AI for SPDR, but then my whole story would have been a waste of time. B+W, if you would like to add and refine this version of events, feel free, until then, we wait three more days.
But, what do I know, I thought of this in the last ten minutes of my consiousness last night, and I'm only a fourteen year old geek...
sorry for double posting, but I just read something on the site that I find relavent, HIDE AND SEEK! maybe this has to do with information gathering skills that allowed the operator to find Dana, and maybe something else, but in case it hasn't played out it's full meaning yet,don't forget it. If Melissa's AI's favorite game is Hide and Seek then it is a very advanced AI and we should look vigilantly for any new monologue entries after the tenth.

I honestly think that some people are looking too deep into this. I read earlier that the B could stand for Bungie. That is a possibility but... the B could stand for bitch or it could stand for brought. Everything that you find doesn't have to be that deep. After refreshing multiple times I noticed that the honey page started to look fu**ed up. I looked around and saw some white stretched text and some black stretched (literally). I did that trick on the back of cereal boxes that says to look straight down on the text and you can read it... well I did that on the lower white text and I could read Napa Valley, CA. I hope this is new. If you dont believe me then try that trick. If you dont understand how to do it then I will describe it again if you just post something asking how to do it.

Hm...What's in San Francisco and Beijing? Bungie's once again officially said there won't be a Halo 2 demo, so I think August 24 might either have something to do with Xbox Magazine's Holiday issue or Halo 2 going gold.
On the other hand, considering the locations mentioned (Bungie's located in Washington, not San Francisco and I remember hearing something about Microsoft negotiating some things with China), maybe this situation has less to do with Halo 2 than it does with Microsoft. Could this be a promotional tactic leading up to information on the Xbox Next? After all, Microsoft does own Bungie. Hm....any thoughts? Can't wait to see what happens on the 10th....
If you really think about it, this really has nothing to do with halo or posible even halo 2 other than the fact it was displayed for a seconds notice after the trailor of halo 2. But rather a ARG set up by bungie and microsoft (comendations all around for people smart enough to comprehend all of this)

This is the best marketing scheme that Bungie has done to date. It's right up there with the Cortana letters. I don't know whats more funny, the people that believe this is a real site or the people that believe the posts that go along with it are not as fake as the site itself.

Anyway, I'm a little worried in not being able to ping or find a physical location for ilovebees.com. Maybe it has something to do with the network throttling being erroded, but there's not a lot that could stop a connection to a host, especially when you can connect fine with it in a browser.

Well, the countdown on that points to a different date because that seems to be a piss-take site (sorry about the colourful language). Take a look at the random stories that appear. It's all about drinking beer, and being delivered from Hangovers.
