All the King's horses and all the King's men... well, you know. Hopeless. The Queen, on the other hand, just put her scrambled transmissions together again.
Now we can listen to the Operator's broken-up audio files in their original order — compliments of the Sleeping Princess, who found 'em for us while the Queen was fussing over her axons.
And that's not all the Sleeping Princess found. Apparently, the Operator has been holding out on us... keeping a secret stash of transmissions. Intercepted communications she doesn't trust us to hear yet. But for some reason, the Sleeping Princess wants us to have them now. A dozen puzzles later, we've got 'em — and for now, we know more than the Operator thinks we do.

It's awfully nice to have so many allies out there who understand perfectly.

okay the jelly thing is a joke that I do. I live in Kentucky Louisville to be exact. Our postal code is KY which if you go to your nearest pharmacy is also a type of lubricating jelly.

We got a bunch of puzzles that people already solved. The answeres to the riddles ended up being the names of the new wav files. All of these new wavs related to Ronnie, her temporary job, and the offer to be a spy. We don't know how she fits in yet either.
Regarding the Red Balloons. If you were to type www.ilovebees.com/outbound/xyz.wav you would get an Error 404 page. These Error pages have contained pictures known as Killer.jpg which have coordinates and stuff embedded in them if you save them and open them up with notepad. We were getting those prior to each week's new set of axons.
Also on these Error Pages are some randome questions as well as some bizarre story by Perdita. Early on they mentioned red balloons, hence Dana's apprehension when she first saw the man drawing them.
Again I would suggest for those of you not on the chat. Download mIRC, join chat-solutions.org channel: #beekeepers. It's a much quicker way to find out a lot of this.

ok, i know i already posted and i dont wana be a nusience but i just fond somthing kind weird: in the wave your_first_mistake the guy um i think his name is kamal said "and computers are supose to be good at that..." an unknow voice says "its not the computer i'm worrying about" and nurga says "your first mistake.....) well on a infected page you can see something saying " Hi! Ignore the Pious Flea Play with me instead! Making a mistake is a good way to start!" is that a clue or am i getting into this too much?
personally i think when it says "making a mistake is the way to play" i think it ment that making a mistake with the url was the first way to play cuz it sends you to a error 404 page that you can only get to by "making a mistake". STUPID ANNOYING FACT:

I don't know if it has been cleared up yet or not, but I saw someone ask about the green text in the "error" message. If you just read it in order, seperating it out a bit, it says, "I found something for you," with the "you" being a link to the .wav files.
I would just like to add, as a personal note, that this is taking way too long. I checked here every day to see the events for a while, but it has just been too long and boring, and yielding no rewards thus far. Now I check every other day, at best.
But that's just my opinion.

Wainamoinen his post about the 99 red balloons, is lyrics from a song that came out in the 80's, by Nena, is was german, but it also was translated into english. The song takes place during the cold war, a young child buys a bag of balloons, and sets them free at dawn, they show up on radar, and the general of an army lanches the nukes and it bring about the end of the world, pretty much.

I heated up the Paramus, NJ axon for POSTURE_COUNTS yesteday at 11:29 PDT. My plan was to go back upto Paramus again on Saturday and Heat up the axon for ALASKA at 7:29 PDT, but I just looked today and it's already heated up. Good thing I checked before taking the trip out there tomorrow morning. Glad to see there's someone else in NJ Axon hunting besides my friend and I. Whoever did heat it up, thanks. If there are new axons to heat up on Tuesday we should probably coordinate (i.e., you get one, I get another, etc.) so we can save each other some trips to the Paramus Park Mall :) Let me know what you think.

The reason Emergency is at the end of SP ordered .wav files is because that's the only logical place to put it. When Jan's father says "I'll take care of it" it is very obvious that he's planning something. The very next .wav file is the police station, the very station they just left, on fire. It is obvious that the test records of Jan's would reveal something that her father didn't want found out and burned the place down to destroy Jan's records.
As to the whole Jan / Kamal sibling thing I believe it is quite obvious that Kamal's little sister was taken off to be a Spartan. Remember the people who Kamal's little sister said she saw sneaking around outside the house the night before "the accident". It makes sense.
Believe, I know these .wav files like the back of my hand. I have all of them ordered and burned on a CD and I go to sleep every night listening to the CD as it loops endlessly until I wake in the morning. These things are more or less in my head at all times now for I've been doing this for some time. I know these .wav files and I can tell you the Jan / Kamal sibling theory is the most logical way to connect the two.

Seems to me that we learn more (in amount overall) from these individual axons compared to compiling all of the axons on the other pages and trying to piee a story together, that majority of the time dont tell us anything anyway.

Hello again everyone. Just thought I would throw out some random things I noticed. I want to look at something the queen/operator put on ILB for all for us to ponder while we wait on 777. (This has been posted, but not looked at carefully on the blog).
Situation Analysis:
Waking up. Stay Awake.
I must compile a list of truths.
Assertions:
I am called the Operator. (QUEEN)
I have crash landed.
I must determine the cause of the accident that brought me to this time. (Present in OUR Time)
I have undergone severe memory loss. (SP, Pious Flea, & SPDR come in)
I must locate any surviving members of my crew. (Thinks this is us)
I have built a primitive network using the tools available. (Inside ILB)
I must seek the truth.
I hear a jumble of voices in my head. (AXONS!)
I will store copies of the voices for future analysis. (AXONS AGAIN!)
Conjecture:
The voices are in some way related to my accident.
Because of the damage, I am unable to accurately assess the nature of the voices.
By broadcasting the voices to my crew, they will be able to assess the damage.
Once assessed, the damage can be repaired. (777!)
So after jumbeling through my side notes, what I'm trying to say is when we hit 777 then the Queen/Operator will think she has gotten a hold of her crew and want to know how to repair the damage. More theories going through my head like Kamal and his sister (who I don't believe is Jan but may be the SP, I told this theory in earlier post). Also looking at the latest 404 page, I'm wondering if the end of SP's story relates to what might have happened to her. Perdita (that so is not how you spell her name!) is being transformed from a beautiful girl into a mechanical metal creature. Then the Clockwork Rat cuts her red balloon that was connected to a payphone so she can't get home. Just some food for thought. Also think we are going to need to know what the recipe 3 axons are talking about when we reach 777. It might be essential to repairing the Queen.

ok so somebody tell me if i am missing anything, in the first weeks jan is discovered, kamal meets up with sophie, and jersey gets durga, in the seconed weeks jan helps that cop kill that guy, kamal sets up that chatter acount for the adin guy and jersey talks to durga about being spyed on. and then in the thrid week kamal goes to lunch with sophie, jan plays moons, and jersey talks to durga about tax's. that all i know so far. can anyone tell me if i got the weeks right or if i am missing somthing? (please i hate being in the dark)

Devotion to Durga
Doctrines The Devimahatmya makes clear the theology of Durga. She pervades the cosmos and creates, maintains, and periodically destroys it in accord with the rhythm of Hindu cosmology. When cosmic balance is threatened, Durga manifests in different forms to protect the world. She is thus the upholder and guardian of dharma, cosmic order. In this she is like a female version of Vishnu, for the concept of a deity descending to the world when it is necessary to maintain dharma is central to Vaishnavism. Similarly, Durga creates, maintains, and destroys the world like Vishnu. The Devimahatmya tells of three cosmic interventions by Durga on behalf of the gods: the battle with Madhu and Kaitabha, the battle with Mahisa as a buffalo-demon, and the battle with Sumbha and Nisumbha. Durga's name means "Beyond Reach," and she rides a lion to defeat the armies of the antigods. To fulfil this role as a great cosmic warrior Durga is created by the gods to act for them.
Durga is not only a powerful force for cosmic order. She also listens to her devotees and attends to their needs. The Devimahatmya describes her as a personal saviour who will save her devotees from forest fires, wild animals, robbers, imprisonment, execution, and battle.
Durga is identified with the important philosophical concepts of shakti, maya, and prakrti. Shakti is the power of the divine, personified as a goddess. Without this the male deity is ineffective. Durga personifies maya, meaning both delusion and creation, and both creates the world and bewitches the creatures she has created. There is an element of divine lila, play, as in the calmness with which she defeats the buffalo-demon. Prakrti is the physical world and its rhythms. The Devimahatmya states that Durga is the world. "As immanent in the world Durga is equated with the earth. As transcendent, she is the heavenly queen who descends from time to time to maintain harmony on earth" (Kinsley 1986, 105). As the earth, Durga is identified with creation and the growth of vegetation and crops.
History Durga originated among the non-Aryan peoples of India. Early references place her in wild regions such as the Vindhya Mountains and with tribes such as the Sabaras and Pulindas. With this background she becomes associated with the non-Aryan habits of drinking alcohol and blood and eating meat. Durga's association with agriculture, especially in her major festival, the Durga Puja, may arise from her early origins. She is the power inherent in the growth of crops and in all vegetation.
Durga becomes an important figure only in the early centuries CE, being praised in hymns in the Mahabharata, but these may be late interpolations. Around the fourth century CE images of Durga killing a buffalo become common throughout India. After the sixth century and into the medieval period Durga was well-known and popularly worshipped. In the classical texts, the Puranas, dating from the third to the fifteenth centuries, her mythological exploits are recounted. An entire Purana, the Devibhagavatam, is dedicated to Durga. The most important text is the section of the Markandeya Purana called the Devimahatmya, of possibly the seventh century, which is also known as the Durgasaptasati or Candimahatmya. This text is so venerated that every verse is considered a mantra, sacred utterance, of the Goddess.
The Devimahatmya tells of Durga's battle and defeat of the buffalo-demon Mahisa. A long war was going on between the gods led by Indra and the antigods. The genie Mahisa was king of the antigods. He won the war and installed himself in heaven, while the gods wandered homeless on earth. Shiva and Vishnu then guided the gods to concentrate their powers, which came from their mouths as jets of fire uniting into a blazing sphere. This took the shape of a goddess, whose head was formed from the power of Shiva, the hair from Yama, the arms from Vishnu, the breasts from the Moon, the waist from Indra, and the feet from Brahma. Riding a lion she went to defeat the armies of the antigods. She fought Mahisa, who took many forms. Finally he became a buffalo, symbol of death. Durga pierced the throat of the buffalo, and when Mahisa tried to escape from the animal, she cut off his head. The gods were then restored to heaven. The myth of Durga slaying the buffalo-demon may be a northern adaptation of Korravai, the Tamil goddess of the mountains, who was a goddess of war and victory and to whom buffaloes were sacrificed.
Durga has always been associated with military success. In the Mahabharata she helps the Pandava brothers and in the Ramayana assists Rama in defeating Ravana. In festivals associated with military success, Durga has been invoked to bless weapons and bestow victory. The tradition of sacred swords arose in more recent centuries; these are given to rulers by the Goddess.
Symbols Images of Durga usually have three eyes. There can be four, eight, ten, eighteen, or twenty arms. The most common objects held in the hands are a conch, discus, trident, bow, arrow, sword, dagger, shield, rosary, wine cup, and bell. Her hair is in karandamukuta, a crown style. She wears gorgeous red clothes and several ornaments, and stands on a lotus or the head of a buffalo or rides a lion. There are endless aspects of Durga described in the Puranas and Agamas and the iconography is consequently very varied. In South Indian images she can sit in sukhasana posture on a double lotus throne and wear a garland of skulls.
The most important form of Durga is as Mahisasuramardini. The image is of the Goddess cutting off the head of the buffalo-demon. The most common number of arms on this image are eight or ten, and the hands hold weapons and a lotus. Mahisa, the demon, may be shown half emerging in his human form from the carcass of his former buffalo form. At the Durga Puja, the most important festival of Durga, she is shown with four deities, Karttikeya, Ganesha, Sarasvati, and Lakshmi, who are identified as her children. During the festival the iconographical details of the images are faithful to Durga Mahisasuramardini, Durga slaying the buffalo-demon, as described in the Devimahatmya and other texts. Clay images of Durga are made and presented with offerings and on Vijayadasami, the "Victorious Tenth Day," the images are taken in a parade to a river or tank and immersed as they are now lifeless.
Durga's association with war has caused a tradition in which she is worshipped in the form of a sword.
During the Durga Puja, which is partly a harvest festival, a central object of worship is the navapattrika, a bundle of nine different plants which is identified with Durga. The Goddess is also identified with a ghata, pot, containing edible fruits and plants from the navapattrika together with Ganges water. The pot is set on moist dough scattered with the seeds of five grains. The priest recites a prayer identifying the pot with amrta, the immortal nectar of the gods. Durga as the pot symbolises the power of growth of the grains and the source of the power of life which gave the gods immortality.

I think the story on the 404 Page is a story of Jan...there are many parallels...she was taken or "lost" at a young age like Peredita, the Clockwork Rat could be the "Detective", trying to get Jan to forget her real family, thus uncovering more of her abilities (i.e.-Peredita slowly being changed into a machine by CWRat), the red baloons are the killings the Detective causes her to do, and the CWRat (Detective) is covering up the killings (re: CWRat cutting the balloons free, so Peredita/Jan can't find her way back to her family/herself respectively)...
or I could be wrong...

Hello. I am new to posting although I have read every post since the beginning and have been keeping a close eye on ilovebees.com. I have yet to heat an AXON but if there are more on tuesday I shall do everything in my power to heat one. I think when we are done heating the AXONS a bungie guy will post a comment asking all of us who heated an AXON to give the name of the AXON we heated and our address. Then he will send us a question about the AXON we heated and if we answer correctly he will send us an early copy of Halo 2. Just a thought.

The whole idea that they'll give out an early Halo 2 is complete bull crap. Bungie has on multiple occasions said they are not done. I for one don't completely believe this, but it would be moronic to relase a game early and forego the possibility to polish the game. Bungie achieved what they wanted to with ilovebees, a massive online and realtime ad and a way to keep non-halo fans and halo fans alike busy. The whole thing was an ad and that is it. It was an awesome ad nonetheless.

Well, today me and a few friends tried to get some of the phones at the coordinates hidden in the killer.jpg images (Some from this update, some from the last) ... And NONE of them rang. All 8 we found and waited for (along with other phones up to a few blocks away) but none rang at the given time.

Oksy, whoever just posted about going to all of the killer.jpg axon coordinates and not having them ring. They won't ring. Those are the coordinates for the ones coming out on tuesday. When those first started showing up the SP told us she's been able to get advances looks at the Queen's "roads" that are under construction(meaning axons that aren't up yet). She puts those there for you axon hunters to plan out the axons to hit that come up on tuesday so you can get there as early as possible tuesday without having to check here for the update, so we have a better shot at getting them all.
Also been gone for 4 days to meetings I had to be at, BUT I am going to totally make you all jealous and love it, I got to play Halo 2 multiplayer!!! Only 15 minutes of it but WOW!!!
How did we go from 2357 posts for "The Extraordinary" to 131 Comments for "found and lost" ? ? ? Can some one help me understandthis? Is everyone standing around waiting for 777? It's nice of Dana to provide the Tools section for the noobs, but I keep getting the feeling that most of the important info is having a "trickle-down" effect.
As of post, we have 30 more axons to go. Don't make this go another week people. We have all fought hard to make it this far, and the end is now in sight. Some have been whining about people losing interest. Well, I'm pretty sure once we hit 777, things will get more interesting again.
I'm really excited about Halo 2 and can't wait for it to come out on Nov. 9th.

Just a couple of theories I've been thinking about the SP's recent post finishing the perdita story. I'm assuming it must be analagous to something here or something we're doing. First idea: Perdita is Dana, she's in China try to find a place unfamiliar, or where she's unfamiliar. Perdita ended up far from home and when she finally looked at herself in the mirror she became very unfamiliar. Maybe Dana's journey is not such a good idea. It's been thrown around before, but maybe one of the AI's we're dealing with (or THE AI with it's various subroutines) is created from Dana's real I (as in intelligence). If so could it be that Dana get's used to make this AI by as ghastly a method as Perdita? Hopefully Dana's not in any troube.
Second idea: Dana isn't related to the AI, but Perdita's story is that of the Sleeping Princess. Haven't thought about that one as much.
Third idea: Perdita's our AI, we're the red ballons. If we can't help the AI find it's way home (whatever that means exactly for her)before the clockwork rat (pios flea?) turns her into something similar to himself, we the balloons will get cut from the payphones/axons. If that happens before our audio story ends remains to be seen, but perhaps it's inevitable. If the balloons don't represent us and just represent the axons, maybe the fact that we are answering all this phones is keeping Perdita's family/the AI's crew from finding her and bringing her home. Her father's job probably fits in there somewhere as well.
Kinda convoluted, but maybe someone can build off of it if it's usefull. And if anyone finds reason from this to see fit to email Dana to warn her of possible danger or ask the SP if she has knows of any connection she might have to dana, please do.....just give me a little credit in there:)

Alright Vermont Beekeepers, time to unite. I don't live anywhere near Waterbury or Montpelier (and I doubt my mom would want to drive all that way so I could answer a payphone). I checked the maps, and I know I'll be a few streets away from the Burlington axon on Friday, and if I can finagle my mom into stopping at the University Mall the same day, I can possibly get the South Burlington axon as well.
Times and stats for both will be most appreciated.
If anyone can also supply me with times and stats for the other 4 Vermont axons, I'll see what I can do to scour up some help.

To be honest, I seriously doubt we're going to get any kind of playable demo disc. Demo discs are for the main purpose of promoting a game, getting people to have interest in purchasing it....it's a marketing technique. Bungie and Microsoft, as well as the rest of the world, knows that Halo 2 is going to be the biggest selling game of all time. They know that it is huge, most people know how the general gameplay is, and if there are any new upgrades and surprises in the game that they want us to know about, then we already know about them. They dont need a demo disc to sell the game.
I have to say that I agree with everyone that hitting the 777 is just going to get us to a new step of the game. I hope it's something HUGE that will get everyone's interest back, because most people have seemed to quit, which is very disapointing. *shrugs* But yeah nonetheless I feel that this "roadblock" of sorts will just be a new step.
Anyhow, for our sake, I hope you're right.

The axons that are listed as SEEKING, perhaps we have to send (e-mail) the operator the Time and location for the Payphones which will "enhottenate" those axons.
ALSO send the codename of those axons, so that the Operator knows which ones you are specifiing the time and location for.
For instance send and e-mail in the following format:
Codename Time GPS Cordinates of the payphone
on_reach 24:00 PDT GPSCordinate1 GPSCordinate2
You MUST make sure that the payphone CAN ACCEPT INCOMING CALLS!!!
In this way we get to pick where the axon is and what time the rings. thus all the people that complain (like myself) can specify where the axon is.
Just a thought. It always seems that the ones that just have 1 axon have better information.

I have been unable to pry myself from the dungeon of work otherwise I could have activated a few of the Axon myself. To all the Axon hunters: Damn good work. It works like this, people:
The Operator uses a 24-hour clock aka "military time".
0:00 = Day's beginning (midnight)
6:00 = 6:00 AM
12:00 = noon
18:00 = 6:00 PM
24:00 = day's end (midnight)
The Operator also posts times in PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) format. Unless you live on the West Coast, you may need to convert.
MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) adds 1 hour
CDT (Central Daylight Time) adds 2 hours
EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) adds 3 hours
So if you fid yourself stuck in Omaha, NE with a 14:32 PDT axon (I made it up), first convert from the 24-hour clock (remove 12 hours if time is over 13:00). That gives you 2:32 PDT. Then allow for time zone differences (CDT adds 2 hours). Voila! Your axon is at 4:32 PM.

I realized a creepy theory...
I was watching "Signs" yesterday (the alien movie with Mel Gibson) and I was reminded a lot of ILB. If you have seen the movie, you will understand this better. The part where the family goes to town, and Merrill goes into the army recruitment office, the guy behind the desk hits it right on the nose. He says he has seen this type of activity before (the reason behind the signs being made in the fields). Says it is a covert recon op (or something along those lines). Where the enemy spies on us. They don't hurt anybody because they don't want to draw attention to themselves. They are just here to gather strategical info, as in attack points. Turns out that is what happened. The enemies ships gathered above the various crop signs before the invasion began. What if (this DOES seem a little far fetched, but WAHT IF...) this is what is happening here?? I mean it does kind of make sense. Durga is actually a covenant AI sent here to spy on us, to determine the best strategical strike point? I mean we already know she is awesom at spying as she has shown us with all of the info she dug up on Jan James, and in one of the new .wav's (week1subject2 or something) she even says so herself (with the use of a voice clip from the cop interrogating Jan). She may be the one calling all the payphones, looking for the best target for the first strike. She gave us all of the codewords and stuff because she is in control of ILB.com. she hooked us right from the start making us think she was on our side. The sleeping princess however is probably the one that is on our side. She talks about being in the glass coffin (crychamber), and is most likely the one that crashed with the apocalypso, thus breaking open her cryochamber with the impact of the crash. Maybe Durga was on that ship too. maybe she was in their ships computer system, spying on them. It is also entirely possible that she was the reason for the crash. Either because she made the ship crash directly, or somebody found her in the system, and knew what she was doing. Then they intentionally crashed the ship to try to destroy Durga or to keep her from getting control of the ship. Now, when the phones are ringing and the "Operator" asks us what ship we are from, and our response is "Apocalypso", that is Durga's way of getting us to feel more comfortable helping her. Getting us to beleive that we are helping the Operator to remember more, like the name of the ship she was on, but we are actually aiding Durga (the enemy) in her spying. By her giving us hope that we are helping somebody, that makes us want to do it more. Anybody think one of the last coordinates might be near or in a city/town named Troy?? I mean in all of America, there has got to be someplace named Troy... i know the hole in my theory is that the operator's name is Melissa, and not Durga, but Durga says she does not know her name, or anything about herself. Old army tactic. When you are behind enemy lines, you know nothing-->you don't tell the enemy anything about yourself, group, mission, nothing. That way we won't give them any info they can use against us. There is no reason/evidence that can/does prove that Durga is NOT Melissa.
I posted this in the last thread just before Dana posted this thread. I feel my theory still holds some ground...at least for now.
